This self-directed illustration was created in response to the article "Understanding the Unconscious Symbols" by 2KnowMySelf. The piece explores how our subconscious mind communicates through symbols—especially in dreams—by transforming everyday experiences into deeply personal visual metaphors. The article emphasises that these symbols are not universal, but instead vary greatly from person to person, shaped by individual experiences, emotions, and memories.

Through this artwork, I’ve aimed to reflect the fluid and often surreal language of the subconscious. It invites the viewer to consider how personal meaning can be hidden beneath the surface of dream imagery, and how introspection and self-awareness are key to understanding what our unconscious mind may be trying to express.
